Listed below are the age groups that junior members will be in for the 2024/25 season if they are born between the following dates:
- U6* 1st October 2016 to 30th September 2019
- U7 1st October 2015 to 30th September 2018
- U8 1st October 2014 to 30th September 2017
- U9 1st October 2013 to 30th September 2016
- U10 1st October 2012 to 30th September 2015
- U11 1st October 2011 to 30th September 2014
- U12 1st October 2010 to 30th September 2013
- U13 1st October 2009 to 30th September 2012
- U14 1st October 2008 to 30th September 2011 -This age group can opt into our cadet program and complete the Surf Rescue Certificate to learn the basic skills needed to become a future life saver. With the SRC completed they can choose to join our patrol teams as support members or assist with water-safety during Nipper activities
* U6 Note: Children must be 5 years by 30 September 2024 before they can join Nippers. They can still start nippers later in the season, as they turn 5, but they will then stay in the U6 group the following season as well. This is a national standard across all clubs.
As we are a small club, we combine several ages in activity groups depending on the number of children registered each season
