Patrol

Season 2022/2023 patrols commence across NSW on Saturday September 24th, 2022. Patrols at Shoalhaven Heads start Sunday September 25th, 2022. Proficiencies for returning patrol members will be at date to be advised by Club Captain Graham and Club Trainers, Karl or Phil

Current Patrol members must complete renewal registrations by September 30th, 2022, by logging into the members area portal direct on members.sls.com.au . Fees payable by patrolling members will be updated by committee after the AGM

For anyone new to joining us as patrolling life savers or as a parent doing water safety for nippers, we can train you. Don’t worry if you aren’t quite fit or think it might be a bit hard, we’ll guide you through the training and your fitness and confidence will improve over time. Check out our training section links  http://headssurf.com.au/training/

Current Nippers moving onto the Surf Rescue Certificate and any parents assisting with Nipper water safety also sign on for this course programme.

The next Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate Course starts October 2022. The course will be held on Sunday mornings at the club for 7 weeks (+ assessment day).

Training involves practical sessions with club trainers and mentors plus guided self-managed study online.

All trainees must be signed up as a member of Shoalhaven Heads Surf Life Saving Club and pay their annual membership fee. Main course fees are covered by the club but each trainee must pay a low access fee to register to use the compulsory SLS Online Course modules
