Shoalhaven Heads SLSC welcomes all community members to join our family friendly club .
All new and renewing members are required register and pay online through the Surf Life Saving Australia website**
Please read the User guide before you start the joining process .
We are a registered NSW Active Kids programme provider and you can you use your child’s voucher for their Nipper registration NSW ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER APPLICATION. Do not pay any Nippers memberships fees through the SLS links on sls.com.au/join portal or the link on this page but tell us you are using the voucher and send your voucher confirmation email to firstname.lastname@example.org and Nicky our registrar will get back to you. It is a new process we are just setting up
HOW TO BECOME A NEW MEMBER/ RE-NEW YOUR EXISTING MEMBERSHIP ONLINE
- NEW MEMBERS (WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN A MEMBER OF ANY SURF CLUB):
At the first page after clicking on JOIN select entity:Surf Life Saving and then club: Shoalhaven Heads then follow the process .Families : follow the guide prompts to group your family together in the system
2.EXISTING MEMBER RENEWALS
PAYMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP,TRAINING,CLUB UNIFORM,CARNIVAL ENTRY AND CLUB SOCIAL EVENTS
PLease use the Payment tabs from the membership page /members area when you start up your new membership or renewal through the Portal links above or by the stand alone payment gateway.
Shoalhaven Heads is the selected entity then list in detail each member or items you are paying for .
You will receive a receipt please forward to the club: email@example.com
Online membership and payments save you and our volunteer officers a lot of admin time but we can also do a manual paper membership and/or cash payment at the club on Sundays during Nippers 8.45-10.15am
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO BE DONE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION and BEFORE MEMBERSHIP IS VALIDATED
- CREATE A MEMBER AREA PORTAL ACCOUNT CREATE USER ACCOUNT click in the yellowed section if you have never set up an account or just login with existing user name and passwork if you already did one in a previous season
This season Surf Life Saving NSW requires all members to create a member area portal account so you can login and update your own membership details when these change. Any changes you make will be verified by the club registrar through the secure SLS Surfguard data system. You can also access all surf life saving member news, policies and other organisational information. You must use the exact name and email address/mobile phone number you used on your membership rego. ie: don’t use your nickname if you registered in your birth name If you are unsure check the details we have for you in the membership database by contacting club registrar
- CONFIRM IDENTIFICATION
ADULTS 16+: Drivers Licence or Passport; Nippers : Birth Certificate or Passport.This is be recorded on your member file.
Photocopy documents to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can also lodge in person with Club Registrar on Sundays 08.45-10.15am
- MEMBER PROTECTION DECLARATION and CLUB CODE OF PRACTICE
All members over the age of 18 are also required to complete a Member Protection Declaration and our own Club Code of Practice .
Some club volunteers acting as a key officer in a child related contact position ( JAC, Registrar,Trainer, Patrol Captain and others) may be also asked to complete a Working With Children Check registration in line with club and SLS policy
** Online memberships and payments can be done from any digital device at home or at the club during Sunday Nippers 8.45-10.15 am until end of October 2018 . Other times after 31st October will be advised by registrar
