Shoalhaven Heads SLSC welcomes all community members to join our family friendly and inclusive club .
We will be opening enrolments for Junior Nippers from early September 2021 date TBC.
Senior Patrol memberships and registration of trainees for Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Cert courses can be made at any time throughout the year
COVID – We have policies and procedures in place for maintaining safe activities for all members of the club that reflect current multi government advice and developed in partnership with Surf life Saving Australia and Surf Life Saving NSW our governing bodies.
We have a club policy for Junior Nippers Activities that at least one parent must also be a club associate member . A parent needs to stay throughout all Nipper activities not just “drop and go” .
All memberships are done online through the Surf Life Saving Australia new members or renewing member platform portal link.
JOIN AS A NEW MEMBER/ RE-NEW YOUR EXISTING MEMBERSHIP ONLINE
- NEW MEMBERS (who have never been a member of any surf club in Australia even as a nipper)
At the first page after clicking on JOIN select : Surf Life Saving and our club: Shoalhaven Heads then follow the clicks .Families can make rego easier as there is option to group your family together under a primary registered member .
👀👀👀👀 You must also create member user account profiles for each adult and also for senior Nippers/Cadets 13+ doing the Surf Rescue Cert or Bronze Medallion Patrol Awards. This allows you to update basic personal information and access member-only organisational and training resources.
2.RENEWALS FOR EXISTING/PAST MEMBERS
If you haven’t already created a member user account in a previous season you will need to do one now.

PAYMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP,TRAINING,CLUB UNIFORM,CARNIVAL ENTRY AND CLUB SOCIAL EVENTS
SHOALHAVEN HEADS SLSC MEMBERSHIP and TRAINING FEES for SEASON 2021/22 will be updated after AGM. The current online price list with $0 membership fees is now void
All member fees must be paid when you complete the online enrolment and before your membership for 2021/22 will be approved by Club Executive and accepted by SLSA. No child or adult member is covered by SLSA insurances until all admin requirements are complete. This includes payment and supplying proof of ID age documents
Patrol member renewal fees are due by Sept 30th each year or season start date if earlier.
a) Use the Payment Option tabs in the new member or if renewing in the members area
Shoalhaven Heads is the selected entity then list in detail each member and items you are paying for .

** Online memberships and all payments can be done from any of your digital digital devices at home or work . The system works best on a full laptop or desktop . If there are interface issues you may need to check/clear your browser settings. Please update your email security settings and preferences to accept surf life saving generated emails
For any other payments like events or extra uniform you can also use the SLSA WESTPAC SECURE E-PAYMENT GATEWAY

JOINING, MEMBERSHIP & COURSE FEES FOR JUNIOR NIPPERS AND ALL ADULT MEMBERS ARE PAYABLE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION
ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS are accepted for Nippers and Cadets 5-18 in full time school . When using a voucher the value per child in the payment option is the full voucher $100. You will also receive a club voucher redeemable as credit against club clothing in the club store . No cash refund will be given
CLUB UNIFORM CLOTHING
Each member ,Nipper/Patrol /Trainee, participating in water based activities must purchase a compulsory safety vest and nipper age cap .
Compulsory water safety rash vest for Nippers or Patrol Seniors and Course trainees $15
Compulsory Nippers age group cap $15
A range of optional and team clothing items will also be available through the clothing store or our online kit partner.
UNIFORM SHOP is open at the club on Sundays 8.45-9.30am
2021/22 BRONZE MEDALLION AND SURF RESCUE CERTIFICATE COURSES -Fees TBC
Course includes annual member fee, access to online learning course + on completion first basic patrol uniform (shorts, shirt and cap)
Cadet trainees 13-18 can use an Active Kids Voucher if eligible for 2021/22
All patrol and course trainees must purchase a fluoro water safety rash vest $ 15

- CREATE A MEMBER AREA ACCOUNT
- CREATE USER ACCOUNT . You must use the exact name and email address/mobile phone number you used on your membership rego. ie: don’t use your nickname if you registered in your birth name. If you are unsure of these we can check the SLSA member database so contact firstname.lastname@example.org
- PROVIDE AN OFFICIAL PROOF OF AGE ID DOCUMENT

SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
SLSA is a strong advocate for keeping young people safe in our club and community and has extensive policies in place to protect all volunteers and members .Some club members helping regularly in roles with juniors are required by the Club Executive to register for a Working With Children Check (WWCC) for volunteers in line with Surf Life Saving NSW Safeguarding Children policy developed with the Office of the Children’s Guardian .
